Stressed About a Sex Drought

Q:I haven’t had sex in over a year. Will that effect me when I finally get it on again?
                                                                                        -Teresa M. Yonkers, Ny
No. It might hurt a bit when your guy first enters you, but nothing a little lube can’t ease.

Hooking Up with a Stud

Q: I just started dating a guy who has a piercing on his penis. Is this dangerous to me?
                                                                                                  Samantha J. Torrance, CA

There’s no way to guarantee the condom won’t break, so make sure he’s been tested for STDs and use an alternative form of birth control. Making sure you’re well lubricated during intercourse will help minimize the chance of it ripping.

Q:I’m 23 and have totally lost my sex drive. I’m in a good relationship, but I can’t get aroused. Why?
                                                                                                              Tiana T. Orlando, FL.

It’s most likely stress, but talk to your gyno to rule out physical issue, like a side effect of the Pill.

The Hair Up There

Q: I have some hair on my breasts. Is this normal, and can I just razor it off? - Rebbeca S. Orange Co. CA

It’s normal and common, especially around the nipples. Shaving can lead to ingrowns, so a depilatory is safer.

Worse than the Munchies

Q: My boyfriend smokes pot. Could this be why he has trouble staying hard? -Anoynomus Pasadena, CA

It might be, but weak erections can also have a physical or emotional cause. Ask him to take a break and see if helps.

Unsexy Side Effect

Does having a lot of sex affect how often I have to poop? -Connie M. Okinawa, Jpn

No. But that question was worth  a shot.

Vick Speaks W/ Police on VA Shooting

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Michael Vick was interviewed by a detective Monday about a shooting that took place outside a nightclub where he had celebrated his birthday, a Virginia Beach Police spokesman said.

The spokesman, Adam Bernstein, said the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback is not a suspect, and no arrest has been made in Friday's early morning shooting. One man was wounded.

Vick was accompanied on the police interview by his lawyer, Larry Woodward.

"He said he wasn't involved, he was gone before the shooting took place, and he doesn't know who did the shooting," Woodward said in a telephone interview.

Police have not identified the shooting victim, but several news outlets identified him as Quanis Phillips, one of the co-defendants in the dogfighting case that landed Vick in federal prison for 18 months. A hospital spokesman confirmed that Phillips was admitted to the hospital Friday morning and discharged that afternoon but refused to disclose his injuries, citing privacy laws.

Woodward said Vick did not invite Phillips to the party and had no contact with him there. Vick remains on three years' probation and is not allowed to associate with anyone convicted of a felony unless granted permission to do so by his probation officer.

An NFL spokesman said Monday the league is looking into the shooting and had no further comment. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reinstated Vick after being suspended for two years last July, and said at the time that Vick's margin for error would be "extremely limited."

Woodward said Vick left the club Guadalajara at Town Center shopping center at least 10 minutes and perhaps as much as 20 minutes before the shooting, which occurred just after 2 a.m. The shooting victim and witnesses at first were uncooperative, according to police, but Bernstein said detectives have now interviewed several people.

Police have said witnesses described the shooter as a black man wearing a white tank top and driving a white Cadillac Escalade.

The Thursday night party was hyped on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter as "Michael Vick's ALL WHITE 30th Birthday Bash." Tickets cost $50.

Vick, who is from nearby Newport News, was in the area conducting a football camp at Hampton University.

One of NBA's Finest, Manute Bol Dies at 47

Manute Bol, a lithe 7-foot-7 shot-blocker from Sudan who spent 10 seasons in the NBA and was dedicated to humanitarian work in Africa, died Saturday. He was 47.

Bol died at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, where he was being treated for severe kidney trouble and a painful skin condition, Tom Prichard, executive director of the group Sudan Sunrise, said in an e-mail.

"Sudan and the world have lost a hero and an example for all of us,'' Prichard said. "Manute, we'll miss you. Our prayers and best wishes go out to all his family, and all who mourn his loss.''

Bol played 10 seasons in the NBA with Washington, Golden State, Philadelphia and Miami and later worked closely as an advisory board member of Sudan Sunrise, which promotes reconciliation in Sudan. Bol averaged 2.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 blocked shots.

"Manute's impact on this city, our franchise and the game of basketball cannot be put into words,'' 76ers president and general manager Ed Stefanski said in a statement. "He ... was continually giving of himself through his generosity and humanitarian efforts in order to make the world around him a much better place, for which he will always be remembered.''

Bol was hospitalized in mid-May during a stopover in Washington after returning to the United States from Sudan. Prichard said then that Bol was in Sudan to help build a school in conjunction with Sudan Sunrise but stayed longer than anticipated after the president of southern Sudan asked him to make election appearances and use his influence to counter corruption in his home county.

He said Bol had undergone three dialysis treatments and developed Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, a condition that caused him to lose patches of skin.

Prichard said the skin around Bol's mouth was so sore that he went 11 days without eating and could barely talk.

Prichard said it's believed that Bol contracted the skin disease as a reaction to kidney medication he took while in Africa.

Janis Ricker, operations manager of Sudan Sunrise, said Saturday that the organization would continue its work building the school in Bol's home village in southern Sudan. The building still lacks a second floor roof, she said.

She said Bol's goal was to build 41 schools throughout Sudan.

"We are in the process of still helping Manute build a school, and we will continue with that,'' Ricker said.

WTF MOMENT Of the Day: VY WHY???

Today I am sitting comfortably at home watching the news....when WTF moment of the day began in from to me just only 2 hours into my morning. Some of you guys may have already seen the video of  Mr. Young go head to head with punches at one of my fav hot spots in Dallas, Club Onyx. The sought-after quarterback of my ULTIMATE football team.,Tennessee Titans; claims that the altercation started with an upside-down Longhorn sign (which as an alumni myself...I will see my black ass turn red too...) and wended with a few "pushes" and no punches.

NFL commissioner went on to Twitter to basically answer to all of us TITAN fans of what might be the punishment to Mr. Young assault charges (which police issued as a Class C assault {ouch} ) by basically stating : "we will see what happens." WTF?? Here is the video from the incident which provides no audio.:

So as I shake my head in full of shame...my only hope is that Young can just take his meds and lead Tennessee to another victory.

Ask Amile: 10 Signs You Should Unfollow Someone On Facebook

Dear Amile
I have been on Facebook since it was only available to college students. Lately, I accepted a few people and they always seem like they know when exactly I am online....everything I post they comment. I even have one particular female who my sorors states she looks at my profile all the time. One particular incident I went by her home and saw her laptop up. It was on my photo album (which she has commented on every picture of mine)!!! I dont know what to do! PLEASE HELP.

Samatha A. Washington DC

Ditching your B-list online pals has become such a huge pastime that the New Oxford American Dictionary officially named unfriend the “It” word of 2009. If you haven’t already jumped on this bandwagon, I’ve ID’d the reasons it’s time to kick some so-called friends out of your social-networking life. And another thing....keep an eye on young lady stalker over there. I have been there and done that...only thing is YOU CAN DO SOMETHING TO SHUT OUT CRAZY PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY!!

1. She’s a firm believer that you can learn a lot about your health from your poop — and has the status updates to prove it.

2. You’ve only met him/her once but he “likes” everything you do on Facebook. Uh, stalk much?

3. You’re pretty sure she doesn't wear her dress and veil every day, but the girl can’t stop posting pics from her wedding two years ago.

4. S/He changed  relationship status to single instead of breaking up with you in person.

5. One word: Farmville.

6. She might not be on The Biggest Loser but for some reason she wants the entire world to know what she had for lunch, how many miles she just ran, and when she is sweating it out at the gym.

7. She has a photo album of your days as a teen beauty pageant queen, a scanner, and a passion for tagging.

8. EVERY WORD HE WRITES IS IN CAPS AND USUALLY FOLLOWED BY TONS OF EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!

9. “So-and-So added you as a friend on Facebook” is the most you’ve heard from him in 10 years. Now that you’ve accepted the request you still haven’t connected.

10. You call her Mom.

Hope this help. Have a great week!!

xoxo

WTF Moment of the Day: Sheed, Perkins one T away from suspension

BOSTON -- Through the first four games of the NBA Finals, the Lakers have contended they are above trying to bait Celtics center Kendrick Perkins into his seventh technical foul of this postseason, which would result in an automatic one-game suspension.

Now that Rasheed Wallace has joined Perkins on the brink of suspension after picking up his sixth technical foul in Game 4, and with Andrew Bynum's status becoming an eternal question mark, are the Lakers still not looking to push any buttons in Game 5 to weaken Boston's frontline when the series goes back to Los Angeles?

"That's not fair play," said Lakers coach Phil Jackson. "That's not the way to play. Yeah, you can be provocative and get out there and act kind of like they do if you want to and get in people's faces and do that. But that's not the way I like to coach a team. That's not what I consider positive coaching, and that's what I like to think is the right way to do things."

Celtics coach Doc Rivers doesn't necessarily agree with Jackson's assessment that the Lakers have not been instigators when it comes to Perkins and expects them to do the same with Wallace in Game 5 now that he's in the same predicament.

"I thought in the last game, even though they say they didn't, I thought [Pau] Gasol -- I thought there was a lot of extra stuff going on," Rivers said. "And they're right, obviously, we put ourselves in this predicament with Perk, and I thought Perk did a great job of walking away. It's clearly the new Perk. I hadn't seen that side of him."

Perkins has understood the situation he's been in since picking up his sixth technical foul in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals (he had a seventh rescinded) and isn't looking to slip up now that the Celtics are two wins away from winning the championship.

Laker Hater"It's in my mind, I'm not trying to get ejected, I'm not trying to get suspended or nothing like that," Perkins said. "I'm going to play hard and I'm going to play smart. I got three games left. Doc tells me to hold my composure. Sometimes the tougher guy has to walk away. I have to make sure I'm there for my teammates and do my job. It's hard because I'm the enforcer on the team so sometimes I want to instigate a problem, but I can't do that."

Rivers has addressed the situation with Perkins and Wallace and doesn't expect either to get another technical foul in the series. But if one does, he hopes it will be in a possible Game 7.

"I'm hoping obviously there is no Game 7, but if it happens, let's let it happen in Game 7, then we're fine," Rivers said. "There's no other game they can get suspended. It's really only two games they have to get through if you think about it, it's not three. I don't want them to be less emotional. I want them to play their games but also have some discipline. That's about all we can do."
